Laminating


The vacuum lamination method allows the connection of two or more components by means of a joining process (adhesive, infrared radiator, pressure, heat).The tool is equipped with vacuum holes to suck the manufactured film to the plastic carrier. In the next step, the pressure of the vacuum is used to generate the necessary contact pressure and to support the joining process in the best possible way.

The processes – laminating, stamping, folding, and welding are mainly used in the automotive industry to produce a variety of different components such as: ABC pillars, sun visors, instrument panels, seat lining, door panels, center consoles, armrest, luggage compartment covers, trunk linings …
